On the south side of the rugged Sorrentine Peninsula, which separates the gulfs of Naples and Salerno, the famously picturesque Amalfi Coast is a region of steep cliffs and sheltered coves, with numerous small towns interspersed by terraced farmland where olive and lemon trees are grown.
The splendid paths, ancient mule tracks above Amalfi, including the spectacular 'Walk of the Gods' which leads down from Agerola to the steep, narrow streets of the picture postcard fishing village of Positano.This is an easy walking holiday week with a real flavour of Italy.

Day 1 Arrive in Naples
Private transfer to Agerola Village followed by lunch. Afternoon free to explore your new surroundings. We will meet later at 7pm in a local restaurant and discuss the week ahead.
Day 2 Mount Tre Calli
After breakfast we hike over Monte Tre Calli, with its stunning views, around Agerola.

Day 3 Path of the Gods
Today we hike the Sentiero Degli Dei - the “Walk of the Gods”, between Agerola and Positano. This is an ancient terraced mulepath linking Agerola to the village of Positano, a small and charming fishing village. We have the opportunity to swim at Positano. Depending on sea conditions we can return to Amalfi by public ferry from where we transfer by SITA bus to Agerola.
Day 4 Valley of the Mills
From Agerola we take a panoramic path to the Ferriere Valley. Walking the woodland trails, across high pastures and down steep steps via the village of Pogerola to reach Amalfi on the coast. In Amalfi we have free time to relax on the beaches, go swimming or visit the amazing cathedral. From Amalfi we take the SITA bus back to Agerola. This walk takes approximately 5 hours.
Day 5 Free Day
You can chose to visit Pompei and Vesuvio but a private transfer is necessary and the price will depend on the numbers. Our driver Luca will explain all.
Day 6 Free Day # 2
You may choose to visit the island of Capri followed by an evening in Sorrento.
This day out will involve bus transfer and ferry to Capri.
Day 7 Bomerano - Fiordo Furore
Today’s walk is a half day, about 3 hours in duration but it allows you the opportunity to spend the afternoon lazing on the beach at the fiord. There is a bar / cafe on site that sells food and drink, and rents sun beds. Following breakfast we commence our walk at Bomerano Square from where we cross a rock wall strewn with caverns. One of the most important is Grotta di Santa Barbara. We continue on to the Valley to Praiano, a beautiful fishing village oozing charm. From here we tread the footpath of the Agavi flowers until we reach Furore, then down to Marina where we soak up the splendour of the rocky beach. After lunch, We will take the bus back to Agerola for our farewell dinner.
Day 8 Depart
We say arrivederci to our new friends at the hoteland after breakfast, take the bus to Naples airport.
Agerola is a small rural village 600m above sea level. The area is ideal for walking. It has decent inexpensive restaurants but quiet in the evenings.
Amalfi is 15k away and Positano is 30k.
Naples Airport to our village is one hour approx. Should you decide not to avail of the pre-determined transfer from the airport you can expect to pay €90 approx for a private car.
