Walk Four

Get your boots on for one of the last big walks of the season...
The October Bank Holiday Walking Weekend

Walk Four
Friday Oct 22nd – Monday Oct 25th
It’s been a summer to remember, so see the season out in style with a weekend of walking in the glorious Maumturk Mountains in Connemara, and finishing with a climb of Mweelrea, Connaught’s highest peak. Meet new people, enjoy the chat and some of the best views in Ireland – on a weekend that is a must for the serious hillwalker.

Ideal for singles, but also great craic for couples and groups, the October Bank Holiday Walking Weekend is led by two of Ireland’s most experienced hill walking guides, Gerry Greensmyth and Harry Herterich of Croagh Patrick Walking Tours. The walks will be demanding (see below), but the sense of achievement as you enjoy the view from the top, and later as you settle into one of Westport’s legendary pubs, will be second to none.

Prices: €40 for one day, €70 for the weekend. Payable in advance
